The Over Voltage/Low Voltage Sensor is designed to monitor the output from the aircraft alternator. Should the output exceed or fail to maintain the required output, the unit alerts the pilot by a warning lamp on the instrument panel.

A flashing light indicates a bus voltage greater then 15.5 volts D.C.; A steady light indicates bus boltage below 12.5 volts D.C.
